IIIT Ranchi : M.Tech. DSAI (CSE) Admissions 2021

Indian Institute of Information Technology Ranchi (IIIT-Ranchi) is one of the 25 IIITs located across India. At present, IIIT-Ranchi, an Institute of National Importance, is being operated presently from its interim campus. The new 67 acres permanent campus is expected to be ready by this year, i.e. 2021.

M.Tech. DSAI (CSE) :

Department of Computer Science and Engineering offers M.Tech. in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. The total number of seats in this program is 25. The course structure for this course can be found here.

Important dates :

  • Last date of Application (Hard Copy) Submission - July 15, 2021
  • Announcement of Shortlisting - July 20, 2021
  • Date of Test/Interview - August 2, 2021
  • Announcement of Result - August 9, 2021

Admission Categories & Selection Procedure :

GATE

For admission into M.Tech. in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence under this category, candidates should possess a valid GATE Score in CS, EC, EE, IN. Candidates admitted under GATE category will be eligible for receiving GATE Scholarship as per norms.

Non-GATE

Students who are not having a valid GATE Score can apply under this category. Students admitted under this category will not be eligible for GATE scholarship.

Sponsored

The candidate must be working in Industry or R&D Organization or Academic institution and must possess atleast 2 years of Work Experience while applying.

In all the categories, there will be Written Test and/or Interview.

  • Application fee is INR 1000, which is Non-Refundable. The fee has to be paid ONLINE. The link is given in the Information Brochure.
  • Applicant needs to send the Hard Copy of filled Application along with Payment Receipt and Self-attested Supporting Documents by Speed Post/Registered Post to the address - Registrar, Indian Institute of Information Technology Ranchi, Science & Technology Campus, Sirkha Toli, Namkum, Ranchi-834010, Jharkhand, India
  • The last date of receiving Application hard copy is July 15, 2021.
